Terragen

Terragen is a powerful solution for building, rendering, and animating realistic natural environments.  You control the weather, landscape, rivers, lakes and oceans, suns, moons and stars. With Terragen you have complete control over the shader networks used for terrains, textures, micropolygon displacements, clouds and object distributions.

This was the result of my first attempt at using the software, the version was Terragen 3

which I found a bit difficult to use at first as I did not get the result I wanted after doing some research and practicing I decided to downgrade to version 1 which I found easier and understood.

this image reminds me off of an island surrounded by water or a stranded area with mountains this is my favorite of the terrain that I created with the most detail and the reflection of the sun in the water and the water and sand

With this terrain I really like the mountains followed by the sun and how it all comes together after the second attetmpt of using the software this was my result 

i still continued to experiment with creating different scenes with mountains I find it quite interesting the image below was the outcome a side view of the mountain with a backdrop on the clouds.
