Visual Jockey
VJing is a broad designation for realtime visual performance. Characteristics of VJing are the creation or manipulation of imagery in realtime through technological mediation and for an audience, in synchronization to music VJs have become an essential part of the clubbing experience. They provide the projected visuals within the club environment that accompany the DJ, mixing and scratching video in a similar way to how DJs cut up records. Almost all major clubs now have someone on hand to provide visuals to go with the music.
Below is my first attempt of using VJ
The process in which i created the animation was as follows:

The first thing I inserted into the composition was the image as standard

I then inserted in a distortion 2D effect with a change in level when the bass of the music increases

I then added in a Multi-layer advanced and attached it under the distortion and the attached the relay to the original image.

applied a colour cycle into image allowing the over all colours to change a lot more in the background. I also added that the speed changed when the loudness of the music changes.

The final effect was Shagadelic which creates a spinning effect to the foreground image making the colours change and spin at the same time. This is the same as before but it also spins slower during pauses in the music.
